Brown Sugar Baked Salmon

From the Kitchen of Betsy and Norma Brown Sugar Baked Salmon


  • One large salmon

  • Granulated garlic

  • Lawry's seasoned salt

  • Black pepper

  • 1 stick of margarine

  • Soy vay teriyaki

  • Honey

  • 1/2 cup - 1 cup Brown sugar

  • 1 ½ cup of apple juice, cider, grape juice, white wine


  1. Rinse filet and place in large aluminum tin

  2. Cover with juice option

  3. Season with garlic, salt and pepper

  4. Cut margarine into pieces

  5. It is not necessary to use the entire stick of margarine

  6. Pour soy vey teriyaki over salmon

  7. Drizzle honey over salmon

  8. Generously place brown sugar on salmon .

  9. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven until fish is cooked.

  10. Baste fish once or twice during cooking time

  11. Broil fish for the last 5 minutes of cooking to caramelize.

  12. Serve warm with marinade over it.
