This blog is for all who are from Michigan and have been waiting patiently and even not so patiently for a winning season. Thirty Two years is a long time!! Was anyone else teary eyed when the game finished last night? Did anyone else hold their breath for the last five minutes of the game?!?! How great is it to be a Lions fan!!! Ok, so now we take a breath and look ahead to next week's game. What better way to prep for a football game than to plan a hearty football game menu? What is your go to dish? Barbecued wings? Chili bowl? Pizza? So many choices out there......Wings are always a crowd pleaser and we have an easy roasted Sesame Chicken Wings recipe to share with you. You can use regular barbecue sauce, but if you use a flavored barbecue sauce such as the asian one in the recipe, you are elevating your wings to a sweet and tangy flavor that your company will remember! For any vegans out there , how about Barbecued Cauliflower Poppers instead? You mix together a coating for the cauliflower, roast, add barbecue sauce, roast again, and done! It is easy and delicious, our favorite combination for any recipe. For both recipes you can line a pan with parchment paper before baking for easy clean up. Nobody wants to be busy washing pans while we could be watching the Lions instead. By the way, did you know that the Lions have a fight song? I had no clue, but I do now! Thank you to Chazzan Gross from Adat Shalom synagogue who this past Shabbat sang the final prayer Adon Olam to the tune of the Lion's Fight song. Ra Ra Ra Go Lions!
